For Muriel ¨yoga is an art :  the art of feeling, exploring and expressing our true self¨  My practice centers on vinyasa/flow and restorative yoga for mixed level yogis.

After years practicing music and dance, when she started yoga she could immediately identify they all have a shared-quality: they made her feel alive. Because they all made her be in the present moment.  To her, yoga is the art and discipline of cultivating this presence. The body becomes the instrument to enter in a meditation in motion.

Muriel is a passionate vinyasa yoga teacher using her background in music and dance to create unique yoga sequences and based on the rhythm of the breath.  The pace of the class is a nice balance between flowing and holding the poses. Her intention is to create sequences that progressively make people explore the connection between their body and mind, so that eventually, by themselves they identify and acknowledge their inner stillness.

After a history in corporate jobs, she left that world behind to share her passion of becoming a yoga teacher and entrepreneur. She enjoys sharing her experience of professional change to nourish and awaken peoples thoughts about their own desire for change.

Lucia Di Cesare, BSc., RHN, PTS Culinary Nutritionist: Inspiring healthy home cooks around the world!

Armed with a degree in Chemistry, post graduate diploma in nutrition, personal training certification, and a passion for cooking, she will reach you the basics to Simply Healthy Living.

After spending many years working in an executive position with a large firm, she began to notice how stress, lifestyle and diet affected the wellbeing of herself and those around her.  With her scientific background she had a natural curiosity to learn how those factors affected our wellbeing and what we can do about it!

Through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, CSNN, a science based program focusing on Holistic Health, Lucia became a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, RHN.  From this program she understood that health and wellbeing is a function of Mind, Body and Spirit.

What is an RHN?  A Registered Holistic Nutritionist is a professional, with a set code of ethics, trained in Natural Nutrition and complementary therapies, whose principal function is to educate individuals and groups about the benefits and health impact of optimal nutrition.

Code of Ethics and Scope of Practice can be found at:

Lucia is currently living on Isla Mujeres promoting a healthy lifestyle.  You can find her most days at Red Buddha Yoga and Wellness where she hosts a weekly, organic, local food market, teaching fitness classes and giving private consultations.

Christine is a healer with a mission to support deep personal transformation for growth-minded people

Christine is a healer with a mission to support deep personal transformation for growth-minded people. From an early age, she studied psychology, alternative healing, nature and nutrition, and found her way to coaching after formally training and practicing as a psychotherapist.

“Coaching allows me to work with a wide variety of people through a strength-based orientation. It doesn’t matter who you are. You have a power inside of you that can be harnessed in the direction of your choosing. I help clients awaken to their innate self, reorient to the problem at hand, and ignite action.”

With both great respect for what she calls the “condition of being human,” and her light-hearted approach, she easily identifies her clients’ strengths and resources while deftly helping name challenges, road blocks, snake pits, and white-outs that hinder progress. Her coaching style supports client-centered insight and client-led direction through use of mindfulness, creative imagination, and developing access to inner wisdom.

Christine has a philosophy of holism, that healing must include the whole organism and that all tangible and intangible parts are interrelated. She coaches from an integrative perspective, which invites input from, and exploration of, body, mind, emotions, and spiritual or philosophical aspects of self to attain broader and often hidden perspectives. She believes transformation occurs when we provide support across our whole being and our psyche to experience integration.

Christine is currently completing her training to become a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) from the world-class Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). She received her formal psychotherapy training from The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, California, and is an intermediate level Somatic Experiencing practitioner. Her on-going healing interests include medical herbalism and nutrition for the treatment of chronic illness, developing insights and intuition through meditation, and harnessing the insights of neuroscience in the treatment of mental and physical disorders of depression and anxiety. She is an outdoor enthusiast, runs a tree care service with her husband, finds it fun to research and trade stocks, and still plans to master playing the piano.
